Thank you for your interest in becoming an Exhibitor and/or Sponsor for the Second Annual 2011 Bossy Mama Flaunt at the Edmonton Events Centre located in West Edmonton Mall on Sunday September 25, 2011. Our show will be a fabulous event and will include more than 90 vendor tables highlighting female owned business, live spinning DJ’s, fashion shows, wine & beer tastings and the interactive gaming Penalty Box for the guys and craft area for the kids in the Sky Box loft above the show.
Network Background:
Bossy Mama is a business network for entrepreneurial women. The networking group is the only one of its kind serving Edmonton and area female entrepreneurs. The group has monthly networking events that include expert speakers. Bossy Mama serves as the platform to connect female business owners who are actively balancing the role of mom and the role of entrepreneur and strives to connect, empower and inspire women in Edmonton. The Bossy Mama Flaunt is a show dedicated to supporting women; especially those women in business. All of the exhibitors at the Flaunt will be entrepreneurial women. In honour of all women, Bossy Mama has partnered with the Terra Centre for pregnant and parenting teens.
Event Background:
On October 23, 2010, Bossy Mama hosted the first Flaunt. Over an hour before the show, more than 300 men, women and children eagerly lined up to be the first one’s into the Oasis Conference Centre. That day, more than 1200 people attended the show that honoured 67 businesses owned by women. After such as resounding response, the show will be bigger and better in 2011, with additions such as the lounge area, Sky Loft for Men, stroller parking and an all day fashion show. The network is excited to host another memorable event in October 2011 and again will be donating all admission proceeds to a not for profit organization.

The Bossy Mama Flaunt is a show dedicated to women and business, and the reality is that many of the exhibitors are businesses in the baby/pregnancy/family industry sector. We expect many of our attendees to be women and families that are there to support women in business as well as learn about products and services that will benefit their families. Mothers represent the most powerful consumers in Canada today, controlling the majority in house-hold spending annually.
